1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

This post is the response for the first evaluation point. I chose to make it on prezi as there was a lot to say and I thought prezi allowed me to present these vast points in a creative mind map.

2. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

This post answers the 2nd evaluation question. This was the first time I have ever used emaze and I loved how there was a range of background themes that allowed me to answer the question and present it in an appealing way.

4. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

This post shows my answer to the 4th evaluation question.
I used prezi to present my answer to this question as I had pictures and videos to insert and prezi allowed me to do that while still making it look presentable.

Digipak

Below is my final digipak design. I have a house style which remains consistent of red, white and black. I feel these colours are better suited to the theme and vibe the album as a whole. Red is a bold, passionate colour which connotes love, strength and power which reflects the theme of the album. This album expresses the artist's dealings with relationships and is sending out a message to her target audience telling them they are independent, strong females who can achieve anything they want on their own and don't need to depend on anything or anyone to do so.

Album Advert

This post shows my final design of my album advert. I have kept the house styles consistent throughout the digipak and album advert and used them to highlight certain information on the advert itself. For example, important information such as the name of the artist, the name of the album, the album release date and the feature single has been highlighted in red. I feel it not only makes the album advert unique and stand out but the boldness of the album advert as a whole represents who the artist is.

Album advert 1st draft

This post shows the 1st draft of my album advert. I feel as if so far I have put in the most important conventions of an album advert, so the main image, the name of the artist and the album and also the release date of the album itself. The album advert is lacking colour and looks a bit bland but through more work on it, it would end up looking appealing to the audience.

Digipak 1st draft

This post shows the first draft of my digipak. As you can see I have picked my house styles that will be seen in both my digipak and my album advert. I am still unsure on what to put in the black space seen and so I am going to look at the pictures I have taken from the photoshoot and also look at other digipaks to see what I could put in the blank space.

Digipak and Album Advert Photos

Below is a compilation of all the images I have taken to use in my digipak and album advert. I tried a range of different styles of poses for the artist so it would reflect the album.

Mood Board of Album Advert Ideas

Album Advert Analysis

This post is a presentation of some analysis I had done on album adverts. The purpose of this is so when it comes to me making my album advert, I would be able to know what is typically seen in album adverts and how I would be able to make mine stand out and grab the audiences' attention.

Digipak Analysis

This post is a presentation of some analysis I had made on digipaks from the pop and r&b genre, as that is the genre of the song I had chosen for this coursework. This analysis has been done because when it comes to me making the digipak, I would be able to know the conventions of digipaks and also how digipaks from the pop, r&b genre are made.
